There is something really special about having the right people beside you, and I truly could not do this without this beautiful human. This is Sarah (who I hope you get the pleasure of meeting)… my sidekick, my calm in the chaos, and such a breath of fresh air. She is by my side each session, bringing her wisdom, creativity, and genuine passion for what we do. Sarah is the quiet researcher behind the scenes, always learning, always growing, and always thinking about how we can make each bush day as meaningful and magical as possible for the children. Sarah creates such a gentle, safe and nurturing space for little ones, while also encouraging adventure, confidence and curiosity. Her love for nature, slow living and child led learning shines through in every session. She has spent many years working in early childhood as an Educational Leader and now brings that incredible knowledge and heart into the bush with us. Most importantly, she meets children exactly where they are, helping them feel safe, capable and connected to the world around them. I feel incredibly lucky to have Sarah walking beside me on this Kooee Kids journey and even luckier that your children get to grow alongside her too 🌿 Come along and meet her at one of our programs ❤️

This is what Day 3 of being out in nature looks like for children aged 5+ at Kooee Kids. Unhurried starts, deep play, bush walks, shelter building, storytelling, noticing insects, creating, and learning together in nature. Real conversations, problem solving, and connection woven through the day. Darkes Forest is becoming something really special. We’d love to welcome more children into this space.
